ISMIS Ghana Sensitsed 250 Pupils In Tema

ISMIS Ghana, a Non-Governmental Organisation based in Tema in the Greater Accra Region has sensitised 250 school children to build their capacities in order to make the right informed choices that would enable them become responsible citizens in the society.

The sensitisation campaign was as organised by the management of ISMIS Ghana as a deliberate exertion to help the younger generation in some schools to build on their talents, to make them become great people of influence to the benefit of their society.

Dubbed “Straight Talk with Basic Schools”, the program was piloted at Tema Community 7 Number ‘1’ Junior High School to add indelible value to the lives of the pupils, by building their capacities, confidence levels, and believe in their self-esteem.

According to Mr. Joel Nii Ofei Arthur reiterated that it was prudent to constantly provide guidance for young pupils in “deprived situations”, in order for them to make informed decisions and best life choices which would earn them a successful career paths in the future.

In a brief remark, the Founder highlighted that, the program sought to bring on board, sensational mentors and influential role models to straighten and shape the ways of these young pupils.

Stressing on the missions of the organisation, Mr. Arthur said ISMIS would never relent on its efforts to provide entrepreneurship and vocational opportunities for abused women in order to enhance their skills.

On his part, the organisation uses various platforms to empower women to be able to aspire higher and attain their goals, and that ISMIS means I Support the Marginalised in Society.

Adding that, the organisation offers sponsorship for women to access quality healthcare services.
He noted that, it was exciting to engage about 250 pupils at the Tema Community 7 Number ‘1’ Junior High School on issues concerning their growth, career and success.

Mr. Arthur commended renowned counselor Mr. James Annan, a renowned counselor and Volunteer Leader Mr. Ebo Dadzie for their unflinching support to make the mission accomplished.
